Today’s Prompt: What are the most important things needed to live a good life?
Today I chose to answer this with something I wish I read a long time ago. I believe this is one concept that everyone needs to grasp in order to live through the tough times.
That being said, enjoy the poem (:
Light turns to dark, softly, without goodbye.
You don’t see it leave—but it hasn’t died.
It’s simply moved, somewhere quieter.
Days pass.
You forget the light.
But the light never forgets you.
It waits, beyond the hush, still burning in a place you haven’t looked.
Even in the deepest dark, light exists—not in spite of it, but because of it.
Where there is shadow, there must be flame.
Where there is silence, something still sings.
The light is always on. Even when it’s gone.
